The Information Centre of the Romanesque Route was one of the projects recognised with a Special Mention in the international competition A+Awards.

Winners are chosen from more than 60 categories by around 300 jurors, whose members include Charles Renfro, Bjarke Ingels, Denise Scott Brown, Tony Hsieh (CEO, Zappos), Yves Behar (Fuseproject), John Edelman (CEO, Design Within Reach), Cameron Sinclair (Architecture for Humanity) and Barry Bergdoll (MoMA).

In recognition of the exceptional quality of submissions received, the jury has acknowledged outstanding entries as Special Mentions, alongside Finalists and Winners. With entries received from over 100 countries, the Special Mention distinction is awarded to work that exhibits remarkable achievement and scored in the top 20% of entrants. This award strengthens the position of Spaceworkers in the national and international architectural panorama and honours Portuguese architecture.
