Process

Architecture begins before
the first line is drawn.

Architecture is not only the result of a drawing. Before a project becomes form, it needs to be read: the place, the people, the programme, the habits, the constraints and the quiet expectations behind each decision.

Process

At spaceworkers, the first conversation is an essential moment in the process. A way of understanding how life actually happens. How people gather, work, rest, cook, receive, retreat or connect.

From this initial understanding, the studio develops a proposal with depth, coherence and intention — often already advanced when first presented, because each decision is supported by a clear architectural reasoning

We listen carefully, so the project can move with conviction.

Understanding

Every project begins with a careful conversation.

We take time to understand the client, the place, the programme and the life behind the brief. This first stage is not only about collecting requirements, but about reading habits, routines, expectations and the emotional dimension of the future space.

The strongest architectural decisions often begin with the smallest details.

Reading
the context

The place is studied as an active part of the project.

Light, topography, scale, orientation, access, surroundings, memory and atmosphere are carefully considered. Context is not treated as a backdrop, but as one of the foundations of the architectural response.

Defining
the intention

From the first conversations and the reading of the place, a clear architectural direction begins to emerge.

This intention gives structure to the project. It helps define what should be emphasized, what should be simplified and what should remain silent.

Developing
the proposal

The project is developed through drawings, models, studies and internal reflection.

Rather than presenting premature options, the studio works towards a considered proposal — one that already carries a strong relationship between concept, form, function, proportion, light and atmosphere.

When presented, the project is not only shown.
It is explained.

Refining
and building

Once the main direction is established, the project is developed with technical rigour and attention to detail.

Materials, transitions, construction logic, engineering coordination and site follow-up are carefully managed to protect the integrity of the architectural idea until the final built result.

A project is complete when it can be lived, used and felt.

Designed from understanding. Built with intention.
